Welcome to Canoe England’s East Midlands Regional website
The aim of empaddlers.org is to bring together paddlers from all around the East Midlands. We are here to help and inform both paddlers and non-paddlers about paddlesports activities and events throughout the East Midlands. If you would like any more information on paddlesports or have any suggestions for either this site or canoeing in general then please get in touch.
The East Midlands Region is active within many areas of canoeing ranging from introducing people to canoeing through to National Level competitions. We are involved in all the diverse disciplines of the sport from large scale recreational paddling through to extreme white water competitions. We provide many coaching courses aimed at developing new and existing coaches.
The region is organised by the Regional Development Team (RDT) which reports in to Canoe England. The RDT aims to support clubs and individuals to develop paddlesports within the East Midlands. The Regional Coaching Team consists of an Regional Coaching Organiser (RCO) and a team of Local Coaching Officers (LCO’s) who are all volunteers keen to promote paddlesports within the region.
