BCU Support Modules
There are various support modules available which are designed to give Coaches an insight into various different topic areas.

BCU Foundation Modules
A series of introductory 3 hour modules aimed at Level 1 and 2 Coaches which are designed to give coaches an insight into the different topic areas:

- Outdoor Education and Paddlesport
- Coaching the Mind

East Midlands Official Modules
The East Midlands Regional Development Team has worked on a series of foundation level modules which are run within the region:
- Swimming Pools and Paddlesports (Developed by Steve Newton)
- Paddling Indoors (Developed by Dr. Gillian Mara)
- Inland Navigation for Paddlers & Trip Leaders (Developed by Dave Barwell)
- Using the Outdoors as an Educational Tool (Developed by Steve Newton)
BCU Intermediate Modules
More specific 6 hour modules designed to give coaches a more detailed insight into different topic areas:
- Optimising Fitness Performance for Paddlesport Part 1
- Optimising Fitness Performance for Paddlesport Part 2
- Coaching the Mind
BCU Discipline Support Modules
The BCU Discipline Support Modules are designed to assist Coaches who currently hold BCU Coaching Qualifications, and who want to gain more knowledge about some of the more specialist disciplines. The 6 hour modules aim to set Coaches up to help paddlers train and improve.
